Our Students Cover It All From Concept to Fruition...

Picture
Since 2008, over 250 college students have volunteered or interned with Cool Cat Events. College students are involved from event concept development through execution of an event plan including budgeting, marketing, and logistics. The success of Cool Cat Events has resulted in the launch of our high school event planning organization called Community Call (www.communitycall.org).  It's mission is to provide hands-on, academic enrichment for at-risk students in the Greater Boston area. Our objective is to help all of our students improve their educational and personal pursuits by providing life skills and work values in a real world education environment using the professional skills needed to produce and execute events as a tool for empowerment in their lives. We accomplish this goal by building partnerships between local businesses, education centers, and local nonprofits to provide a mutually beneficial relationship to improve business, education, and life in the community.

Cool Cat Events works under the academic advising and management of Carolyn Edwards, an adjunct teacher of Event Management at Boston University's School of Hospitality. Our service area covers the Greater Boston area. If you need help with your nonprofit  event concept, planning or management, contact us and we will discuss your needs and our ability to help make your event a reality.
